Bill Morrow has spent more than 15 years founding and leading companies and successfully delivering valuable products and services to underserved markets. This focus is driving CSIdentity's efforts to deliver identity protection solutions that offer truly comprehensive protection at prices below today's narrowly focused competitive offerings.
Prior to CSIdentity, Bill founded Grande Communications in late 1999 with a vision of providing bundled phone, Internet and cable services to businesses and residents along the Austin/San Antonio corridor and in other Texas markets. In addition to leading Grande's funding efforts, with total equity raised passing $500 million and setting a Texas record in venture capital investment, Morrow set the tone for Grande's award-winning corporate culture initiatives, which strived to create gratifying experiences for customers, employees and the communities where Grande does business.
Before starting Grande, Morrow helped found and served as a board director of ClearSource, Inc., a telecommunications company offering bundled services to residents and businesses in several second-tier Texas markets. Grande, with Morrow at the helm, acquired ClearSource in June 2002. Morrow founded Central and South West Corporation subsidiary CSW Customer Choice and Control and later C3 Communications in 1993. Customer Choice and Control pioneered advanced utility management and consumer control of electricity over deep fiber broadband networks from 1994 to 1997.
Morrow was appointed in September 2005 by the Governor of Texas to serve on the Texas Emerging Technology Fund Board. The $200 million fund is to be invested in emerging technology and businesses in Texas.
He sits on the University of Texas at San Antonio Development Board and was for the past two years vice chair of the Communications Committee at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and a Board member of the Austin Economic Development Corporation.
