CSIdentity VoiceVerified©, an easy-to-implement voice authentication system, uses highly advanced voice algorithms to analyze each individual's voiceprint, which are as unique as a fingerprint, only better for securing a remote transaction.

Colleges and universities will be able to utilize CSIdentity VoiceVerified to help them comply with the program integrity requirements of the 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA). The HEOA imposes a number of new reporting and disclosure obligations on institutions that participate in Title IV federal student financial aid programs. One of the act's program integrity requirements requires institutions that offer distance or correspondence education to have processes in place to establish that the student who registers for the program is the same student who participates in and completes the program and receives the academic credit.

When students enroll in an institution employing CSIdentity VoiceVerified, they will have their voiceprint stored and the system will randomly call students when they submit an electronic document (i.e., a test, paper or other assignment) through the school's learning management system. The Voice Verified system will ask the student to repeat a random set of numbers displayed on the computer screen and will then compare the new voiceprint to the stored sample, thus verifying the identity and allowing the student to move forward with the submission. The entire verification process happens in less than 20 seconds.
